It gives me no pleasure to predict that the Federal Republic of Germany is about to soil itself again to please the Noisy Lobby.

The players in the coming spectacle are noteworthy. The story is worth pondering because it has all the earmarks of a wide-screen feature film I hope a savvy producer somewhere is going to pick up. It could be another Scopes Monkey Trial feature right in the heart of Europe.

Imagine an erudite man of the cloth embroiled in a spiritual war against a bullying minority ensconced in a “shitty little country” with branches in New York, London, and Tel Aviv. These bullies are swinging the Auschwitz cudgel in a disgracefully cowed Vaterland in hopes that the current Pope on St. Peter’s Throne will remain in the thralls of a soul-deadening myth. The man of the cloth is a British Bishop of a renegade Catholic church called SSPX (Society of St. Pius X) who has dug in his heels and stands firm.

I am sketching the backdrop for you as it was told to me.

The Didache – The Teachings of the Apostles… Does Your Life Measure Up?

In today's world - with the way things are going within 'Christendom' in North America & Europe especially, it is my feeling that all those who identify themselves as 'Christian' need to ask themselves one important question:

If the apostles of Christ showed up today in your neck of the woods... would they recognize what people who call themselves 'Christians' are doing and saying as that faith once delivered to the saints?

We Believe…

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-Begotten, Begotten of the Father before all worlds, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made:

Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;

And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;

And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;

And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, Whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;

And we believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.

We look for the Resurrection of the dead,

And the Life of the world to come. Amen. †

Churchless Christianity?

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle."
